Tutoring Program

Phi Eta Sigma’s primary focus is a tutoring program for Texas A&M University students. The service is FREE of charge and open to any student of any major. The students are tutored by Phi Eta Sigma members who have excelled in the class that the student needs help with.

If you are a Texas A&M University student looking for some additional help with your classes:
Please see our self-serve list of tutors and available courses for the semester. Feel free to contact the tutor of your choice -each tutor has listed an e-mail address and/or phone number- and together you can determine the best meeting place and time to fit your schedule.

If you are a Phi Eta Sigma member who is interested in tutoring:

Please email our tutoring chairs, Kelsey Tara and Rebecca Carlson, at tutoring.pes@gmail.com. Send your name, contact information (phone and primary email), the classes you have excelled in and are willing to tutor for, and when you took each class. Also, in order to receive a service point for tutoring, the person who you tutored needs to fill out the Tutor Evaluation sheet (found at the bottom of this page), and turn it in by email to tutoring.pes@gmail.com. Once the Tutor Evaluation sheet is received and at least 2 hours of tutoring have been completed, a service point will be added to the Point Sheet.

Please contact our tutoring chairs if you have further questions. They will be glad to help you!

We offer tutoring this Fall 2020 semester in classes listed in the excel doc listed below.

Additionally, you have the opportunity to review the program by filling out an evaluation form also listed below. Once completed, you can send the form to our tutoring chairs at tutoring.pes@gmail.com. All feedback is much appreciated!

Book Exchange Program

Textbooks are expensive! If you would like to participate in the PES book exchange program, please email tutoring.pes@gmail.com, and include your name, the textbooks you would like to donate, as well as which books you are looking for. We will check our stockpile to see if an exchange can be made, free of charge. We will also accept textbook donations at any time. No points will be given for donating books, but it is a great way to help out your fellow PES members!
